So hard to capture the beauty of this area. (Note: original is tack
sharp - the site doesn't display it as sharp as it is). Many thanks!

Stunning, as always, David. I love that calm water and dramatic sky, anchored by the log.

A great 'place' photo. I would go for a tad more contrast, to make the forms really pop out, but that is more of a preference.

Beautiful. I know how hard it is to capture those moody moments in the forest, and you've done a terrific job. Very well done.

Stunning! I love the weird, surreality of it. Modern world meets natural.
-
Delightful capture of a country scene! The girl in blue, and her position, add energy and make this a great pastoral scene.
-
Great portrait - a band? Nice and edgy, without being too stereotypical! The cords are a great addition to break up the space and add some dynamism.

Beautiful colors and exposure. It does feel a bit cramped - cropped too tightly on the left, especially. Just a little more space on either side would make it perfect!

I love the setting, the light and the little boy. Too bad the other person was sitting there as well, or it would be just about perfect! But it's a great composition.

What a striking image!! I love the quality of light: you have hard sunlight coming in from the left, filtered light coming through the roof, and reflected light on the right! Also, the colors and textures create a fascinating image: all browns and yellows, except for the tiny hint of green in the distance; the geometric roof versus the ruined, stony floor.
Altogether a fantastic image: unique and creative which is unusal. It's easy to get a 'pretty' picture, but not one as interesting as this.

Beautiful scene, and great composition/capture of the boy with the red shirt - it adds a lot of interest and makes this more than just a 'good' photo. I find the contrast to be a little soft, like it could use a Curves adjustment in PS to make those colors and landscape really 'pop' as much as the cyclist does.

Good exposure. There's a lot going on in this frame though - focusing in on that tower, or one of the bridges, might have helped give it a clear subject and strengthened the composition. Have you tried cropping it to a vertical format?

I like the effects you've added to this one. It suits the image and takes a very ordinary subject and makes it something special - well done!

Beautiful image, I love the dramatic composition, with the little inlet of frozen water. The yellow-gold sunlight (?) on the rock at left seem a bit overexposed or oversaturated for my taste - it competes a bit with the sun. But that is an easy fix in PS. A lovely capture all around, that helps me experience the locale - great job!

30 second exposure. No tripod, so I had to rely on convenient rocks in
the middle of the stream on which to balance the camera! Thanks in
advance for your thoughts and critiques, ratings also welcome!
