    Len...good job on the contrast & nice composition. There is a series of vertical & horizontal paths in the reeds. Yup, simple is often best!

    The light is doing some very good stuff with the textures in those stones. Sometimes, less is best! And you've done a good job of getting more out of the snow that a blast of brightness. Nice pic!

    Lovely image. The blur on the edges is mildly distracting, esp. on the left side. Maybe a slightly tighter crop would be the tiniest bit more convincing. BUT -- it's a picture I wish I had taken!

    A gorgeous image; I like the quite tones and the subtle ranges. I also like the dignity of the composition. Perhaps the head could be a bit raised. It takes on a slight look of defeat pointing down; perhaps, though, you intended that.
