just thought id explain why I rated this lowly:

- The cloth on his knees seems to be in focus but nothing else.

- It looks like there is some motion blur (faster shutter speed needed)

- There are distracting vertical lines coming from your subjects head.

- But most importantly the eyes are very out of focus, which will immediately wreck this type of portrait.

Just my 2 cents.

i really like the image, but I find the border overdone and feel it detracts from your nice shot. Would love to see it with a simple thin black one or similar, your shot is great on its own, the colours and shading and such in the border are unnecessary.
