Hello,

I have just shifted from Nikon D60 to Canon EOS Rebel T3i. In Nikon I had option for Basic JPEG with RAW.

But, in Canon T3i I have noticed that there is only Large JPEG + RAW. Its making difficult to manage space.

Am I missing something or there is a limitation of only large JPEG option with RAW.

Looking forward,

Sanath, I bought my camera day before yesterday and results are accurate. May be you have to check with Wal-Mart.

Thanks Leopold. I have checked with eoscount, worked perfectly :)

Well the program isn't telepathic, so your camera obviously has to be connected to the computer while you run it ;)

For my Nikon I used to upload the last image on the website and that gave the count.

Thanks Leopold. I tried this site earlier. It's asking camera to be connected to the computer. For this I am bit hesitant due to viruses and malware. What do you say?

-

Thanks Marcus. But it won't ruin the camera. Right?

Thanks Eddie. I have just bought T3i. Please let me know if ML is error-free and safe on T3i.

And in case someone destroys the camera's software/operating system then what is the remedy?

Thanks all.

Michael, I am also interested in making shorts.

Charles, I think - for me - it would be hard to do both. Yes I am interested in documentaries. You are right about the end market of both. Agree with marketing also.

Mark, I was never interested in making video and never put on the video mode on my Nikon camera. But for some time I have developed immense interest in video. I think it was hidden somewhere in my heart and surfaced. Now I have less interest in still. And for this end have sold my Nikon and bought Canon EOS T3i.

As Dan put, much hard work involved, but, I want to give it a try for sure.

Harry, I am finding hard switching from Nikon to Canon. I had been loyal to Nikon for more than a decade.

Hi,

I want to know that am I got cheated? On my asking, the showcase person of camera store showed Canon EOS Rebel T3i body and Canon 18-55mm AF II lens Made in Japan.

At home I saw that both body and lens are Made in Taiwan?

Secondly, please let me know is there any issue with Taiwanese made body or lens.

Shall I return and ask for Japanese made body/lens?

Thanking you in anticipation,

Thank you for your feedback. Yeah I guessed so that it won't work. And I think, going for adapter would not be feasible for me.

Hi Hilary,

This reminds me three years back when I was carrying TLR with me in hand luggage and the security guy at Toronto airport was amazed to see that. That reminded his time when his father used TLRs.

I am sure there will be no problem; even there is nothing to worry about with a separate camera bag.

Have a great time and happy clicking :)

Hi,

I want to print my photographs and frame them to display at galleries. Please let me know where should I put my name/info.

Is it OK to stick a piece of paper having info at the back of the photograph print?

What are other options?

Thanking you in anticipation.

Hi,

In my opinion camera, mobile or anything else is just a tool, a vehicle. More than technical aspects - I think - photography is more about concept and composition. I have seen great photographs taken by ordinary cameras. One can get most expensive camera but one cannot buy the artistic sense.

Hello all,

Thank you for taking time out to review my website.

Harry I have not designed it to mainly focus on course. Its just something that people may notice while browsing but the main objective is not course. Its interesting to know that you perceived it as a course website. I will look into it. Thanks for your positive comments.

Would be grateful if anyone let me know that is it feasible to buy this camera. Any feedback about this camera? And what about the Compact Flash (CF) memory card? Is it obsolete?
