    My inexperienced thoughts are that it softens too quick as you get away from the eyes. I think it has potential for a good portrait. Excellent eyes...

    Thanks for the comments. I took a lot of different shots - changing the ISO, Aperature, and Shutter Speed settings.

    After I posted my last comment, I realized you also took the Norther Cardinal picture posted the other day. In the details of both pictures, it lists that flash is used. What does that do for you? I'm thinking you ar too far away to matter, or is that something you did not update?
