    I agree with your assessment. I should not have posted this as I am not personally satisfied enough with it. I was trying to capture the details but posted this one because of the highlights. (I do not want to do a lot of post editing, such as stacking.)

    I like the picture but I have some thoughts about the cropping. Maybe crop tighter in portrait-mode, cutting out most of the Heineken sign - or center the Heineken sign with the subject off-center? Thanks...

    Thanks for the helpful feedback. I was playing with my aperture setting to get a better DOF. I'm using the Canon EF 50 f/1.8 II.

    Excellent photo...that looks like an ant on the stem in the background. Adding a border or frame would make this picture "pop" even more.

    Excellent capture with great detail. I looked at the other portrait style bee picture in your portfolio; that might be a good one to crop so that all you see is bees.
