Very cool, Barbara! I love the positioning of the girl, just on the edge of the frame. And she makes a classic 'little girl' image. She's like a little ghost girl, in a secret garden. :) KW

Thank you, Jeff! Yep, pretty sophisticated for a three year old! Who did she learn that from? :)

Oh, this is so sweet! The constant work of a parent is rewarded so wonderfully and completely in moments like these. They will get bigger, and they will need you less, but you will always be able to say, I am with you! A perfect fit for the theme, thanks for sharing such an intimate moment! :) KW

Jeff, this is too cute! I don't know how I missed it! Everything's already been said, bit I'll say again, his expression is so adorable, and if that's not fearless I don't know what is! Love his little baby toes and his little baby fingers, and that hairdo, too! As parents, we put our hearts in another person's body, I understand the parental fear you expressed. But we also get to relive the wonder and excitement of being one year old, and fearless! :) KW

Hmm, I don't see the girl, either! But what I do see is like a spirit, something that maybe is supposed to be unseen, but the viewer catches a glimpse from the corner of their eye. Magical, ethereal. My first thought was that this is the forest in "Bridge to Terabithia," and the girl that is disappearing is Leslie, gone from the real world to live forever in the fantasy one. Very cool, I like it lots! :) KW

Alibek, thank you! One of the reasons I love to photograph kids, is the life that just overflows from them. It does shine in their eyes! :) KW

Jan, thanks for your comment! I'm sure the style of the building was purposeful, to blend into the habitat for the baboons. But I think the dirt may be a freebie, ha! ;) KW

Steve, I think you did an amazing job on these, they are all gorgeous! I know the bride and her family can't help but to be thrilled. Their wedding album is going to be spectacular! You caught so much emotion in them all, looks like you've got a real knack for weddings! I am very, very impressed! KW

Beautiful! A great pose, I love the light falling on her face. The red adds a lot to the emotional impact of this one! KW

I so love this! Such a serious expression on such a little face. It was just as big a day for her as for her mom, you captured that beautifully. KW

Wow! This looks mystical, and magical. This could easily be the scene Arthur looked upon right before receiving Excalibur from the Lady of the Lake... KW

Cherlyn, Roger, Alibek, thank you for your comments!
Alibek, besides the obvious connection of the two dolls together, my thought when I took this picture was also that of the bond between a child and her 'friends.' The providers of unconditional love, acceptance, understanding. Someone always there to listen to joys and sorrows, hear your secrets and feel your pain. I think we all seek that, even when we are all grown up...

Thank you, John. This was at the Atlanta zoo. One of the first posts I made to PN! Although now I don't know why I made it so small... ;) KW

Doug, in the time it took me to check the LCD screen, these little buggers were up and running away already!! One shot was all I got! :) KW

Oh, Micki! LOVE this one!! Are they both under the covers together? That's funny! Your son is also a beautiful child! And a boy that loves his dog, what could be sweeter? :) KW
-
Micki, this is great! She almost looks like a cat, giving you 'the glare' if you look at her. And she is very beautiful! One can only hope she gives this look to prospective boyfriends, LOL! ;) KW
-
Wow! Love the colors, the imperfections, the lines and the curves... Altogether a very pleasing composition! :) KW
-
I agree with Micki! I don't think there are 'weed' flowers! God made them all, who are we (as humans) to decide which are 'good' and which are not? You made a beautiful capture, the color really pops against the background. :) KW

Love the expression! He looks so comfortable, and like he's daydreaming about something quite nice! The steps are a perfect location, their size makes him look very small, and the curves are pleasing to the eye. Great capture! :) KW

Very nice! I really like the gradient coloring, and the texture is, of course, simply amazing! :) KW

Very pretty, loved the colors. Makes me feel like I am on a carnival ride. What is this? LOL! KW
