    WOW! That cloud is just fantastic... and that man who seem is gazing at it really adds to the scene. What about cropping on the left and upper sides of the image?

    Hi Daniel, thank you for your comment.

    I set my camera to have an image more saturated than normal (there's an option you can choose) and then underexposed (1 step maybe, but I'm not sure). I used this technique also for "The garden of Spring" (see the same folder where this image is posted). The black in the upper part is due both to underexposure both to the slope of the mountain which goes straight down. I took this photo just at dawn, so shades were still quite dark.

    Hi Leanna, thanks for your comment. The town you see here is actually not a town, but a small village called Valdidentro, in the heart of Italian Alps. Famous ski resorts close to Valdidentro are Bormio, Livigno and Santa Caterina Valfurva. Garmish is in Germany. Alpine landscapes can look all very similar to people who come from not close countries. :D

    Bella foto ricordo! Interessante l'effetto prospettico delle tracce sulla neve che portano ai soggetti: li rende importanti. Forse prendendo la scena da una posizione piu' bassa avresti accentuato questo effetto.
