<p>Infact I'll shoot anything like I do everyday ; sorry I forgot one - SE Experia Arc- which does great job. I hear a suggestion :"Just take your AndroPhone, that's all" .<br>

But my experience from Italy trip , whispers me different stories. As I forgot to take an extra battery from the hotel for my Pentax K10D, Kodak touristic pack for 10 EUR + my old phone survived the day in Rome. But not this time. I want to be ever-ready, I want to be light as possible, with both film and digital. Thanks in advance.</p>

<p>I'll be in Paris for a week; I've searched the forum, got some ideas. To update data; can you suggest me second hand camera stores; especially for RFs (Russian-Ukr.) ? Thanks in advance...</p>

<p>I'm thinking to leave my K10D behind and return to simple photographic equipment (Fujifilm S 2950 in my mind; wide range zoom, light, cheap, everyday camera) to get rid of heavy-bulky (sometimes unnecessary) stuff . I just want to , simply to shoot. Opinions please ? Thanks in advance... MF</p>

<p>I'm starting to manage a small group of photography in my hospital. The group consists of eight individuals; six females and two males. Two out of eight have a degree higher than university (MD, my colleques ) while the rest are high school graduates. As far as I know, none of them have any idea about photography basics so I set a questionary up. The questionary has 10 statements asking the collaborators;<br>

What does photography mean to you ? (hoby, need, documenting memories, joy)<br>

How often do you shoot? (daily,weekly, monthly, in case)<br>

What sort of camera do you have? ( film, digital, phone cam, don't have one but consideing)<br>

What do you like or would you like shoot more? (Family and friends, nature and lanscapes, street and city life, travels and etc)<br>

What is f values?<br>

What is ISO?<br>

What is shutter speed?<br>

Which one isn't a must to make a photograph? (Lens, camera, film, flash, sun)<br>

What is focusing?<br>

A photograph is good one when ( I do it, cameras does, lens does, light does, money does) .<br>

So that I will understand the level of each group member and why they need to photography IMHO.<br>

After determining needs and teaching the basics , I think to arrange weekly meetings to share my experiences and encourage the members to shoot and share.<br>

Can you suggest me any ideas for reputation ? Thanks in advance...</p>

<p>Well , my old fellow FED 3 has the same problem indeed. At lower half of every photo I saw a vertical light leak like yours. I examined my FED 3, the obscura space, curtain and winder. Result was obvious. The left part of the curtain travelled late in contrast to the right side (main shutter curtain) especially in the middle section of frame.I thought there may be some dirt or stain in curtain rail. Cleaned it with paper tissue. Now it serves good , many of the frames at least. The weird thing is that , main curtain not effected by this issue. :( ?</p>

<p>I want to sell my K10 D (shutter 10.000, no extra problem) + kit lens + Sigma 24 mm manual focus, auto Av f:2.8 + battery grib + sigma 70-300mm tele+ PEntax M 50mm f: 1.4 . How much does it worth you think?</p>

<p>Well I do; and I'm very happy with that. Like most of us , I shoot digital (K10D) but when it comes to archiving the hard copies, I discovered that my albums of travels- family and holiday events came out from film cameras. I rearranged my photo albums in this week, filled in memo notes, smellt my -one to 10 years old - negatives. Hmmm, it was a pleasure, a taste surrounded my mind , old pages reappeared deep in my brain. Once more, remembered how I loved my <em>Spotmatic, Pentax ME, Kiev 4</em> and <em>FED 3</em>. Again and again; rather than a spare K10D battery, using as a savior , how useful was the Kodak ready to shoot cameras.<br /><strong>Pleasure, it was all pleasure</strong>. These are what I felt, and hope you do still... Just wanted to share... MF...</p><div></div>
