  1. A friend of mine runs an interactive blog of license plate photos.

Anyone can photograph a plate and email it in.<P>

Anyway, I ran across this plate recently and thought you'd all like to

    see it.<P>

Feel free to share any related plates that you have seen.<P>

I remember that the photo editor of my college paper had NIKON plates.<P>

  2. They didn't like the monopod but they let me in with it. I'd like to get a cane handle for it so I get less hassle about it.

After the game, my hubby overheard security tell someone else that something he had shouldn't have gotton thru. I don't know if they meant the camera or the monopod.

What do you do if the venue won't permit your equipment in the door?

Wrigley doesn't have much parking (at all) so we had to take the train there. It's not like we even had the option of placing it in the car trunk to give thieves something to work on.

  6. My camera was cold from the a/c air when I took it out of the camera

bag on this warm, damp night to photograph the fireworks show. Yep,

the lens was fogged. Actually, it results in a rather kewl effect

when tweaked in photoshop. Hope you like it.<div>008kJ6-18645984.jpg.0fb08d6234ad1045c9cd05c447645dad.jpg</div>

  7. Thanks everyone! The card reader is one of those 4 in one type readers that came with the computer. I have a theory that card readers last about 100 transfers because this is the third card that has conked out on me. We plugged in a Dazzle USB card for the compact flash format (only) and it is working fine now.

Thanks again for the advice. I really appreciate it.<div>008gWA-18567584.jpg.1fdfc8ff49816dbcd353a64da2674eef.jpg</div>

  8. Hi! I'm using Nikon View 6.1 which worked last week to load photos

into my computer from a compact flash card. Today it won't work,

stating that "There is no memory card in the connected camera or the

    card reader"<P>

I tried going to MY COMPUTER and trying to find the compact flash

reader drive there, but it isn't listed there today.<P>

So, how can I fix this?<P>

I have tried more than one compact flash card, so chances are - it

    isn't the card.<P>

    Thanks!<P>
