Simply beautiful. A very real portrait.

I submitted this earlier but I think this larger version is better.
Comments are appreciated.

Thank you for your comments Rich and Sveltlana!

love your contrast and tones here, it's perfect! Very Interesting shot, makes you look twice.

Yes they were building ships out of Concrete after the War had used
up all of the steel...and this one broke loose and sunk off of Sunset
Beach in Cape May, NJ. I don't know anyone in this picture and that
is why their images are obscured.

We followed a spraypainted sign that said Golden Retriver Pups to a
farm where we were greeted by the Mother. She was very friendly
and appeared well cared for.

Just awesome, black and white, in color....love it.

Great Shot! Love the attentive look he is is giving to something in the distance, I love your whole Dog folder, sometimes they are the best models, aren't they. My Golden Retriever is featured throughout my portfolio.
Looks like you might have had a little bit of shiny snow reflection on the pup's coat but you did a good job minimizing it. snow can present a lighting, contrast and hue challenge but it's one of my favorite things to photograph.

Thanks for your critique of Kerrys Windowsill, you have an excellent portfolio! I'll be marking you and coming back often. This bee on a flower shot is as good as they come! You have excellent composition and depth of field throughout your portfolio.

I love the iconic-ness of this somehow lithograph style photo. Black and white flowers allow us to focus on the abstract form and shape of the flower without the distraction of color.
Quite Beautiful.

~any crits or thoughts are appreciated~ I will in turn visit your
portfolio if you visit mine! Thanks!

This is outstanding, now....did he know you were taking it or were you zooming from far away? Either way, this is the kind of portrait I hope to have in my portfolio one day!
-
I am really loving this in it's sincere simplicity.

It's been a while so I need a critique~Thanks for your time!

Just a shot of my sisters kitchen window, she keeps an immaculate
house and no detail is left forgotten!
-
I love old architecture, and this is well seen, although I live the faded paint, I feel that it would lend itself well to balck and white.....there is somethig slightly off with the crop, we may not even need the last 1/5th of the pic under the windows.

~Feel free to say anything that comes to mind~
-
wonderful! Captures the feeling, congrat's on your timing!
-
I love the motion of the figure to the left, some might see it as a "blur" but I feel it adds that extra "something" to the shot.
-
I gave this a 6/7 because it is so different, it captures the feeling of being in Church. I believe you posted one where there was a person on the left? I liked that one because it gives the picture scale and you realize how many candles you are looking at. Great Color in a difficult lighting situation.

Thanks for your comments and for your opinion! You have a very valid point.

Just wondering, since you were so kind to rate one of my photos....why so soft here? Almost looks like the focal point is his hands.
