I honestly haven't been on photo.net in years and as I flipped through many shots today this and the other shot I commented on are the only ones that stood out.  Love the muted natural colors here, and how you let the top wash out.

Rather odd, in a lovely way, I might ditch the vignette effect and just focus tight on the expression, in B&W....like this....

Thought I's take a peek at your recent work since you were kind enough to comment on mine. This is great! I like how the window is not level. I agree...well seen.

Thanks for your comments. Yes, the backdrop did not completely cover the background & it is distracting. I used post processing for the finished photos to fix it. This is a collage of outtakes. I really liked it so I thought I'd see what the real photographers had to say about it! :)
  1. When I find myself in times of trouble, mother Mary comes to me,

speaking words of wisdom, let it be.

And in my hour of darkness she is standing right in front of me,

speaking words of wisdom, let it be.

Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be.

Whisper words of wisdom, let it be.

And when the broken hearted people living in the world agree,

there will be an answer, let it be.

For though they may be parted there is still a chance that they will see,

there will be an answer. let it be.

Let it be, let it be, .....

And when the night is cloudy, there is still a light, that shines on me,

shine until tomorrow, let it be.

I wake up to the sound of music, mother Mary comes to me,

speaking words of wisdom, let it be.

Let it be, let it be, .....

    Water Colour

I like the noise or water color effect you added. What I like most, though, is the angle that the man is tilting his head and his hands crossed behind his back, it's funny how people do that when they look at paintings, as if it stops their urge to touch them.
