Great shot. I would not worry aboput the obscuration by the middle ground which detracts from the image only slightly.

Alberto,
I would definately leave the stones in as they give a sense of balance in my opinion and the image would become too wooly without them. Perhaps it is a sense of safety that they offer.

Nice exposure stacey.
I would be tempted to reduce the amount of sky in the image as it would serve to hold in the main focus of the rocks.
