My first action on seeing the thumbnail was to say out loud " Wow that's good"

It stands out from most of the the other images in the recent gallery. Having seen the name associated with it i am not surprised it is good.

I was attracted to this as soon as I saw the thumbnail as i think the sky is fanatstic.

However, this would work much better in my opinion if the sun was a little further down in the shot. The image looks as if you have only just squeezed the two main points in.

Lowering the horizon to lower the sun may also improve the relationship between the two main focusses. But doing so now would still leave the sun too high in my opinion.

Still an interesting shot though.

Not really, I think if an image makes you want to crane your nect to view it ( i.e make it "upright" ) then the tilt does not add anything. that is the case with this one for me.

I think the content would be better served with an upright representation.

I like the sky and the black tree in the foreground, but can't help feeling I am missing something at thew bottom of the image.

I would have liked to havbe seen the ground in this one!

I like the dramatic nature of the shot and the starkness.

However I feel the composition could have been improved by losing the boat at bottom right and having the other one more central.

Still a GOOD image!

Very nice tones and exposure, but I would consider taking the RH side off by about 15-20%(ie into a squarer format) as at the moment it seems to be weighty on the left.
