    hi,

i am a film user not digi,

i would have used a long exposure on slow film ( iso 50) and a tripod. looks like digi noise to me . what iso setting did you have set?

  1. Jim,

Have looked at you B/W IR shots and am impressed. I assume all these were on the digital camera?

I think I wa lucky with the back lighting as the leaves in my image were bright anyway and have only been slightly enhanced by the SFX film?

I don't shoot digitally at the moment but maybe should bite the bullet an get some Kodac HIE for the medium format camera, although I know it is less easy to handle when compared to the SFX

Thanks for the advice I will see if I can source some SFX somehow ( I have even tried emailing ILFORD / HARMAN

    cheers jon

I partially agree with the above.

the lighting is lovely and the background a perfect compliment to the light on the main subject.

I however feel the composition would be improved if the left hand edge was cropped off giving the tombstones a more prominent(central)- position. Obviously My opinion only ;-).

on the whole though i think this is an interesting photo and you should take some confidence from your obviously good basic technique!

    I really like this.

the aspect is quite interesting and does justice to the shapes involved.

What treatment has this had (in PShop I assume) whatever it is it does the subject justice IMO.
