  1. Hello Phillip, I have had the good fortune of photographing this kind of work myself. When you walk into these buildings and look up the feeling is one of whoa, it's as if the ceiling is trying to reach for the heavens and take you with it. And that is what is lacking in your photo. Yes, you have done a good job on the compositon. I agree with Hanna, back of a little and perhaps include a little more. Maybe some of the arches, this will lift the ceiling if you know what I mean.
  2. Hello Ramakrishnan, one of the difficulties of black and white photography is that we can not rely on colour for impact. Thus we now need to rely on a differnt way to convey our message or feeling about what we saw. I am sure that when you look at this image that you do not have same emotional feeling as to when you actually took it. The composition is very static and the overall appearance is one of clutter. There is no focal point and the eye seems to wander, like what am I supposed to be looking at.You have taken too much of a good thing here. I feel that the picture is in the tree on the right. A single branch backlight against a black background would have been more desirable in my opinion. I hope that you will appreciate my honesty. I am not here to pander to egos. But certainly willing to help make better photographer. Cheers.

These moments of magic are short lived, but very memorable. So it is

with life, the small things matter the most, like a smile perhaps.

Hello Eleanne, excellent work. A beautiful subject and well presented. It is the colours or rather the lack of colours that makes this image so striking. Your little touches have certainly added to your image. But an excellent image in it's own right. Keep up the good work, cheers.

Thanks Pierre, I am trying to find a happy medium. It has been suggested that it might be wise to reduce the size of my images. In case someone wants to use them for personal gain. I have taken your comment on board about the frame. I will experiment with sizes.

Hello Gelay, a simple but very effective image. Well seen. I would have liked to see a little bit more space at the top just to balance the image, great work.Cheers.

Hello Jeff, a striking image. Beautiful soft muted colours. An intersting balance between light and dark and the wonderful patterns created by the reflections. Isn't nature just wonderful. Cheers.

Hello Marta, a well seen and creative approach, few people ever get down this low to see what happens in this part of the world. The colours are stunning, I remeber I was taught (not that I belief it ) that blue and green should never be seen together. Well this puts paid to that belief. Cheers.
