Thanks for taking the time to share your impressions & suggestions.

The cat is actuallly stretching out sideways on the carpet, rolling from side to side. I snapped the shot fairly quickly from directly above which gave me a bit of "motion" and helped create the illusion of falling when turned on end.

Well...I know I will probably offend somebody's sensibilities in saying so.... but I get tired when every image is sharp, austere, rigid, and therefore "perfect." So much of life is seen in flashes and blurs, side-ways glances and near-misses. I want photography to encompass all the possibilities.

Might fit better in the abstract category, but it is a photograph of
my own resident feline, Mao. Comments?

Is the lighting too soft? Any other feeback and suggestions welcome.

This is great! Put a huge smile on my face!

The focus is great and I really like the lighting of his body. I wish his head was turned just a bit more towards the light, for a clearer view of his face.

Great capture of a beautiful moment. I love the perspective to catch both his eyes and what he is focusing on! Nicely done.

This is beautiful. I love the expression and perspective. Good lighting and composition.

I really like the composition and the focal choices. The light reflection (?) on her hair is a little distracting -- especially in the larger image. I love the idea, though.

You have beautiful soft lighting in this portrait. The boy looks a bit suspicious of having his picture taken. I would try to get another shot with a more relaxed expression. Excellent focus.

This is an interesting idea. And I liked the texture much better after viewing large. My one suggestion is that for this to work, I think the headshots need to be positioned so that the mouths are across from each other with a diagonal cross eye contact. These two images look right past each other without seeing. No dialogue.

I like this one a lot. Very nice abstract and it is very much like a rain-washed tulip. Good eye!

I love the bright colors in this one and the interesting focus. I wish I had something as pretty and intriguing in my backyard!

This one put a huge grin on my face -- very playful. Thanks for visiting my portfolio. Keep up the great work!

This is lovely....beautiful colors and textures. The unique perspective adds a lot of depth and the desire to "figure it out."

Decent lighting and composition, but the focal point seems to be on the necklace instead of higher up on the face. The eyes end up looking a little bit cloudy and blurred.

I would trust your original instinct -- but that is only my vote.

I really like this photo, Rob and I think the dramatic lighting effects work well. My first trip out of the country in 1992 was to London, and this was one of my favorite places. Thanks for the nostagia!
