I agree that this may not be the best photograph in technical terms (although it's not bad), but it speaks volumes to me. It grabbed me instantly and made me feel terrible about the way we treat animals in general, and many zoo animals in particular. For me, this is a gripping and very moving photograph; I will not soon forget it.

Stunning detail, wonderful framing and capture! This may be the most detailed shot I have ever seen of one of these guys - is this a captive bird? In any case, it's a great shot and really captures the bird and its opinions.

Stunning and strange! The colors are marvelous, and I like the moon in there to lend another touch of unreality. This is a very unusual picture which I like a lot, and I must commend you on seeing and getting it. Great work!
