I really like this version over the other simply because of the depth perception. It's a beautiful place and photographed very well. I think the ghostly figure adds to the shot as well. Nice work.

Stephen....... Thank you sir. I've been working on improving my foreground choices.
Radu..... thanks for the nice words. I seldom upload anything more than 640 pixels on the longest side. It keeps the file sizes down.
Joscelyn..... thanks for commenting.

Sidsel....... Thank you very much for the kind words. I'm glad you like it.
Anonymous...... I see what your driving at and thank you for the advice but to me it looks to much like an HDR shot now. The softness of the clouds is now gone and the contrast in the rocks below the waters surface over power the reflection.

Thank you Alf..... You can probably tell I have already cropped some off the top but a little more wouldn't hurt. This is a second run at editing this particular shot. I really struggle with it sometimes.

Tomaz........ Thanks, I have always liked the symmetry of reflection images.
Jeff..... Thank you, nice hearing from you. It's been a while.

Your right Jeff. In a big way. It was more a function of the white balance than the saturation so I started all over and like it much better now. I shot it at 5000k and +1 tint which is my Nikons daylight white balance. I left it that way in the original. After correcting the white balance in ACR to 3650k and -22 tint I think I have a more natural looking photo now. Thanks for pointing it out. It was pretty loud and I should have seen it. I replaced the original post with the redo but can't seem to clear it out of my browser cache for viewing on the web so I also posted it as new as well. Please have a look and let me know what you think.

Thanks for looking.... This is from the shoreline of Lake McDonald in
Glacier Park. We've been having some spectacular sunsets the last few
evenings.

Thanks Radu..... nice hearing from you.

I agree somewhat on the "less is more" but you have to work with what you have. Access was limited and I haven't yet been able to walk on water. Thanks Alf for your thoughts....

Nice wide angle black and white. Your clever composition allows me to see what's in front of me as well as what's behind.
