  1. This is funny! Actually I have NEVER used paypal and don't buy stuff off the auction sites, not worth the potential trouble as far as i'm concerned.

I just didn't want one of the uninformed friends at photo.net to get suckered in as I think all the photo.net folks are extended 'family'.

When is someone going to come out with a device to send about 50,000 volts back to these senders computers... one can always dream...

    Have a good evening y'all!

    http://www.macuserforums.com/webx?14@147.GFiYaezwpVH.2@.ee748ce

you will see all the little problems that have come up over the years and have that knowledge to be able to correct things. makes for some interesting 'read' for the 'reading room'..

BWC LABS on Central Express in Richardson is at the top of the game for your processing needs. Their E-6 transparency processing is flawless!

  5. RB 67 Pro S Body vs RB Pro SD Body

    david m pidcock - 10:49am Jun 14, 2005 EST

Danny & others What is the difference between these two bodies re: lens use, finders, accessories, etc. Thanks, David

    Paul Breitkreuz - 08:06pm Jun 14, 2005 EST (1.)

David, actually to my knowledge the amount of differences is small. Typical of this product, the consistence to keep things backward compatable is a real plus for the owners. There is one large change made to the Pro-SD bodies over the two previous units, the Pro and Pro-S, is the lens opening size. The Pro-SD lens opening was made larger to accomodate the 75mm Shift Tilt lens as well as the 500mm lens, (which these will not work on the Pro & Pro-S). However, in keeping with the standardized platform overall, the older lenses will work on the Pro-SD body but require and adapter ring to be used to bridge the gap on the opening. The other items, such as: revolving backs, viewfinders, film magazines are inter-changeable as well. There maybe other items, but I'm unaware of them.......good luck.....trailimages.com

Thanks, Paul. I assume if I went to a Pro SD body the adapter ring is readily available somewhere? David

That is corrrect David. I see them on Ebay, KEH, and B&H to mention a few places to look, as well as MAC too!......good luck.....trailimages.com

  6. The Mamiya RB67 is available in three models, of which one is currently manufactured. The RB67 Professional (discontinued) was manufactured from 1970 to 1974.

The RB67 Pro-S (discontinued) was manufactured from 1974 to 1990.

The RB67 Pro-SD (current model) was first released in 1990.

you can download all 3 manuals and see if its worth it to you.

  7. I smell a RAT. Canon packs these lenses very well in foam. For there to be a scratch all around the lens element seems to me that someone opened the thing and was playing Mr. Fix-it with your lens. I would suspect the guy that brought it to you. Actually once you saw the packaging disturbed , you should have called the shipper immediatly without even opening the box. My ef24 to 70 has a button on the lens to switch from manual focus to auto-focus, does your lens have the same thing? You need to get on the phone with the shipper and the seller and get an investigation started immediatly. Ask the seller what serial number they shipped, some rat may have swapped another lens for the original...
  8. Dude,

I called Mamiya and they usually don't give out any information. I asked for the pin -out of the plug and they are looking it up for me. They also said that quite often people put the plug in upside down. They said the letters should face downward. They change cables often as a repair that costs $85 USD.

They are going to call me back with the pin out information later today...

  9. Doug, thats a great shot of the local honey, left and the dude on

right getting ready to apply some 'seasoning'.

Christian, i know a guy that last week got ready to pawn or sell his

223 rifle, he was making sure it wasn't loaded before he took it in,

he emptied the clip or magazine, the rifle barrel was in a 'sock' and

he had the muzzle pointed down at his waterbed; you got it, he pulled

the trigger and wammo, right through the waterbed! I'll never go

    hunting with him!
