I am looking for a flash attachment for an older model Minolta manual camera.
X-370-SR 1S and SRT 101. Would like to find something that is interchangeable
between those cameras. What would you suggest? Thanks.

I recently acquired a Duotar Zeiss Ikon tripod head from an estate sale. I put
it on ebay and someone asked a question whether this head could be used for a
particular binocular made by Zeiss. I don't know, I assumed it was for a
camera. Does any one know anything about this tripod head? Would appreciate
greatly any input.

I recently acquired a great used Nikon F3 and I am wodering what kind of
lenses I should get for it. Do I need to use manual focus or can I also use AF
lenses? I would appreciate your advise.
Thank you

To another Bob. I have two other cameras, a Minolta X-370 which is a great little camera and a Pentax ZX-7 which does a great job also but they ain't a Leica. It's not that I mind the learning experience. It's actually a challenge which I do hope to master one day. Photography is not my job it's just a hobby. Thanks for the advise though.

Rob; Yea, I was thinking the same thing. I will get a short roll of film and shoot it and see what happens. Thanks for all your help on this issue. And thanks to all who responded. I have been using those darn automatic cameras too long I guess. I just acquired this Leica last winter and everytime I use it it's a learning experience.
But a nice learning experience. I just love this camera.

To all who resonded to my problem, I thank you very much. I'm sure this old Leica does need a CLA and I will persue that.
Rob, I did run the empty camera through all the shutter speeds with the lens removed and the curtain worked just the way it should through all speeds. I did notice one thing, the Advance/Rewind lever wasn't quite thrown all the way over to the A and when it was like that the curtain seemed to have been sluggish then. If that would make a difference I may not have had the lever thrown all the way over as far as it could go towards the Advance position. Do you think that could have added to the problem??

I am still learning to use my Leica IIIC and being the amateur that I am I
have another question to throw your way. I just finished shooting a roll of
Kodak Ultra Color film and about seven or eight of the finished photos were
totally black for half of the picture while the other half was perfect. Most
of the shots were made in nice sunny weather and I was shooting with a shutter
speed of 1/500 and 1/200 with the F stops at 12.5 or 9.0. The rest of the
photos in the roll of 36 were beatuiful. What could have caused the blackness
on half of some of the photos??

I have a No. 3 Harrison Light Corrector Disc B-2 That fits inside of my Kodak
Series VI adapter ring 1 5/8 in- 41mm that fits on my 5cm Summitar lens. I am
trying to find a polarizer filter of the same size as this Light corrector
filter. And also what exactly does this Light Corrector filter do? Is it to be
used with black and white film or color?

I want to thank all who contributed some feedback on my question. Right now I have a PNY technologies SD card in the camera and it does a nice job. But you know us Photographers, we are always striving for and hoping to shoot the "BEST". Thanks again for the advise.

Does the quality of the SD card I use make a difference in the
finished picture in my Kodak P850?

Found my Father-in-Law's old Kowa SER which is in perfect condition.
I need to know what size battery the camera takes. I would like to
sell the camera but I want to make sure it is working ok. Would
appreciate any help.

What type of polarizing filter should I use on my Minolta X-370
manual focus camera? Linear or circular?

I just want to thank John for the his input on my question about getting the viewfinder cleaned. I did drop it off at a photography shop for cleaning. So when I get it back hopefully I will see things a little brighter then.

I acquired this old Leica IIIC and have been shooting some pretty
nice photos with it. The universal viewfinder that slides into the
hotshoe on top of the camera is pretty cloudy inside. Can they be
taken apart and cleaned and if so any suggestions as to where the
best place is to have it done. Appreciate any suggestions. Thanks
in advance..

Hi; I'm brand new to this site. Just acquired a 1947, I think,
Leica III C camera that is in great condition. I need some help in
putting film in this camera. I mean I am totally green at this. I'm
used to popping a roll of 35mm film in my Pentax and ready to shoot.
I love this camera and would love to learn how to use it. I need
some help. Thanks.
