Good Nikon Wednesday morning to all. Great shots again today as usual. I am always so inspired by all the wonderful photos that everyone sends in. We took our daily walk at our local county park yesterday and I took this shot of the last of the fall colors. This scene will soon be covered with snow and ice. Brrrrrr!!!

Good morning to all. Great photos this morning. We have been without a canine friend since losing our black Lab "Ricky" just before Mother's Day this year. So last Saturday I went to a Meet and Greet at our local county dog shelter to shoot a few photos and rescued this beautiful female Chocolate Lab. Such a wonderful dog. They called her "Lexie" at the shelter so I guess we will go with that name. She is adapting beautifully.

Ron that is a nice shot of the Portland Head light. I was in Maine in early September. The weather was pretty rough.

Good morning to all. Great shots so far. I especially liked that nice buck Matt, and the nice portrait of Jennifer's. Hamish that shot makes me want to pack the suitcase and head for Arizona. Brrrrrr!!!!
Mine is a shot of some kind of wild flowers at our local park where we walk everyday.

Sorry I'm so late coming in today. We went to Maine last month during all those crazy tropical storms so the photo shooting wasn't what you would call ideal. But I found this old early 1950's Buick in an overgrown lot in Stonington, Maine and couldn't resist the shot. Love this town.

Good morning to all. Some great photos this morning already. Thank goodness we were unscathed in NE Ohio during the storm that Irene caused. We went to the local farmers market last Saturday and I found this little Amish girl all ready to sell her beets as her father stood back and watched his little sales girl.

Good Wednesday morning to all. Some great shots this morning. Matt I have been using that method of starting charcoal for some time and as you say it beats that smelly fluid all to heck. As long as we have a car show going on this morning I thought I may as well add to the mix. Went to a cruise in last week and liked the color on this 1928 ? Ford.

Thanks for your response. I have no idea how this film was stored so I'll just shoot a roll and see what happens. I haven't shot slides in years and was thinking about shooting some again so before I toss this film I'll shoot a roll and see what happens. Thanks for the input. I'll let you know the outcome.

I just acquired about 8 rolls of Kodak professional Elite Chrome 100 that expired in Dec. 2007. Would it still be good? Does color negative film hold up better than color slide film when it ages or visa versa?
Thanks

Good Nikon Wednesday morning to all. Some very nice shots already this morning. Can't wait to see them all. Yesterday I went for a walk through our large and peaceful cemetery here in Ashland, Ohio where I met this lovely doe. She stopped and posed for me before trotting off into the woods.

Good Wednesday morning to all. Some great shots this morning as usual. Finally a little relief from the oppressive heat here in Ohio this morning. I was walking at one of our many county parks in Ashland county, Ohio yesterday and liked the way the morning sun was striking these yellow flowers in the butterfly garden.
