Splendid composition.

Hi Tony,
Personally feel a landscape is more effective when it is wide. Usually, 16:9 format. To enjoy this colorful visual gold, could we have a larger image.
Thanks,
Harsha.

Hi Tony, I would have preferred lens flare, possibly had it been a little more prominent and contrast.
I always wanted to have a landscape where I have the greens, blue sky the sun and the sharp contrasting lens flares up to 1/2 the image.
Thanks,
Harsha.

Splendid capture and a BW effect which makes it mystic. After seeing this I have started to convert a few of my landscapes to B&W to check out how they look. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Tony,
When I first saw the image, I wanted to comment "Straight from Heaven". I later read the story behind it. RIP, your co worker.
Thanks,
Harsha.

Hi Tony, Would go with Alf. First view, wanted to remove the twigs and leaves. The top half with fewer and bigger pebbles is more pleading.
Thanks,
Harsha.

Hi Tony, I prefer the original version for the following reasons.
(a) This being a landscape, I always want to see it wide. Wider view is closer to what possibly one would see at the site.
(b) The "shadow lines" below are running through the full length of the snap.
© The greens on either side highlights the orange color, making the snap look more colorful.
Thanks,
Harsha.

Hi Tony, Great colors. However I feel a little lost in this snap, not able to stop at one thing. Going by other's comments, I am the only guy to have this feeling and could be missing something.
Thanks,
Harsha.

Hi Tony, I could almost feel the grains through my fingers.. Smart capture. Thanks,
Harsha.

Thanks Tony, Mike for your time and appreciation.

Hi Tony, very colorful, with the rough contrast tree bark. Felt the border to be out of place, as a personal taste. Happy 2013,
Thanks,
Harsha.

Hi Tony,
My preference is the sharpened one. The boat with it's reflection adds magic to the snap. Great colors.
Thanks,
Harsha.

Hi Tony, As normal with your snaps. Great colors. The leaves add magic. Was thinking what if the image was flipped over by 180 degrees to make the trees upright?
Thanks,
Harsha.

Hi Tony, Lover this. It has an abstract finish without any much editing. Have got a similar snap taken at night on reflection of lights. This has more colors. I am happy that, I have started to think like you for once :-). Would put up mine on PN shortly.
Thanks,
Harsha.

Hi Tony, Great contrasting colors. Took me some time to "find" the duck, but did it finally. Great imagination.
Thanks,
Harsha.

Hi Tony, would go with the original post. The lights highlight the path to the house and I did not find it disturbing.
Thanks,
Harsha.

Hi Tony, Fantastic capture. The mist adds a beautiful soothing effect. Love those garden lights as well.
Thanks,
Harsha.

Hi Tony, Nice capture. Post rain night photographs in city always gives interesting results.
Thanks,
Harsha.

Hi Tony, The softness at the bottom of the image, gives an impression that the flowed is suspended in air. Soft background is great for the flower.
Thanks for sharing,
Harsha.

Hi Tony, Though the other image (with HDR) looks more real, this one is appealing. The colors, sharp contrast possible takes us to the illusive world. A unique example where 50 : 50 split works.
Just a question, if we could get such good results with Digital processing, why spend effort on HDR? Is this snap an exception?
Thanks,
Harsha.

Hi Alf, Nicely done. A splendid B & W image. Congratulations and thanks for sharing.
