Beautiful almost surreal colours on my favourite stretch of
coastline tonight.
All critique welcome.

This may not be technically perfect, but this waterfall is
horrendous to expose for, with the foreground in daylight, and the
fall in virtual darkness in the narrow gorge. Located in the vale of
Neath, Wales UK, Sgwd Einon Gam entails about an hour and a half of
gorge walking and river crossings to get too.
All critique welcome.

Thought I would put one up of the other face of the heritage coast,
after so many chocolate box images of the place! This was taken
during a rare break in the torrential rain, one of very few shots
taken during a most hostile evening. Not a place for taking lightly
in these conditions, it has the second fastest tidal rise in the
world.
Thanks
Phil.

Thanks Glenn, Will and Yongbo for the comments, they are much appreciated.
Kah yes from 10mm to 500mm a bit of a jump! This was taken at about 7.30 Am at iso 400 at about 1/30 of a second. I got rid of the worst of the noise with neat image, a great program if you haven't tried it. The colours were deliberately left subdued (natural) on the advice of people with more experience with birds than myself, although I will probably inflict my saturation fetish on one at some time or other! I believe the pros get the wow factor from off camera strobes/flashes etc? Didn't spend a week in the bush, but spent about 5 hours that day under a camo net on a muddy river bank. Got probably 3 minutes of photography in that time!! This stuff is way harder than landscape. Not sure when I will do any more, as the lens was borrowed from a friend, and I cant afford one myself at present. :0( Keep up the great work.
Regards,
Phil.

Perhaps not as good as the previous uploads. But these are so
difficult to get sharp, that I thought I'd stick it on anyway!
All critique welcome.

I have mixed feelings about how green wind farms are, but they make

Thanks for the comment Ian. I like this shot, but it's gone down like a lead ballon everywhere! Each to their own I suppose.
