Great contrast between the harsh dark rocks and beautiful softly lit model. A difficult tonal range wonderfully executed! 7/7

Sorry - I see now what you mean by the image size. I hadn't seen the "larger" button. I had been expecting to be able to click on the phot to get the larger size. I'll fix that too.

I'm not sure why you think it needs to be resized. As it is 525 x 679 so it should fit easily on a 1024 sreen. I am new to this site so if I'm missing something in that regard please let me know.
I do agree with your comment about the saturation of the foreground and will make that change. I'm still playing with the format and height of the image.

Shot this with my 10-22 EFS-IS at about 11mm. The original photo
had the trees pointed out quite a bit but I was able to correct it
with the perspective correction tool in PS CS2. The sky has been
adjusted a bit to even out the intensity and I used curves and
selective masks the bring up the forests and balance out the distant
mountains.

I prefer this horizontal to the vertical. The vert was interesting but lacked a point of interest in the foreground. I agree that one should not be driven by formulae - so while it may be true that in real life the reflection is unlikely to be brighter than the sky that is not a reason to follow the rule - but it may help the balance and mood if the reflection was darkened and the castle brought up a bit

This photo originally had the sky blown out - it was dawn when I
took it and I was able to bring the sky back in selective curves in
PS CS2.

I really like the treatment - the high contrast, black background etc. My only nit is that the gentleman's knee distracts from his face. While the scars on the knee etc are consistent with the message - sorrow and hardship - the face is so strong that I don't think you need it and it would benefit from the resulting closer crop you could do.
