I think this is my favorite of the group.  The lighting on the flower is gorgeous and the bg gives a feeling of movemet without affecting the natural beauty of the subject.  Nise series.

Roger, the lights and the shadows work wonderflly well here.  Love the soft and delicate presentation.  Thank you for providing artwork we can aspire to and critiques that are honest and helpful.  Take care.

wonderful shot.  I really like the textue and coloring of the leaves.  Excellent bg as well!

Great macro Gail.  I think the frame works well on this because it looks like an action shot.  The bug is coming right off of the page!  Greta effect!

Beautiful shot Sarah.  Very soft delicate feel to this.  The bg compliments the flower very nicely.

It doesn't get much better than this.  Focus, lighting, posture of the hummer, etc, etc are all spot on!

this is a real aesthetically pleasing shot. If I would change anything it would be as you suggest, the framing a bit, but not much. I would frame out the upper branches on the left side, and cut off the bottom about halfway between the bottom of the reflection of the heron and the bottom of the picture, leaving as much of the top and right hand side as possible. Just my opinion and not to take away from the serene scene you have portrayed here. Thanks for sharing.

another beautiful litttle hummer shot!  They are amazing as is your ability to capture them in action.
