  1. Excellent capture Tm. I'm wondering if the area under the chin is molting or maturing. It looks like the beginning of the brilliant red collar on the adults. I've not seen it before either, but it's what drew me to the photo. Love your hummers, keep them coming.
  2. I like them both very well. But there's something about the wingtip touching the water that makes this type of shot special to me. I prefer this shot, but take nothing away from the comparison. Both are very well captured and presented.

I really like the lighting, dof and basic composition. It it was me, I would re-crop to eliminate about 1/2 to 2/3rds of the empty space on the left.
  3. I like the composition framing and bg very much. Does the original shot include the parts of the cut off petals at the bottom? If so, might consider recropping to include full petals and maybe rotate slightly counter clockwise eliminating the the partials on the left side so all of the flowers are full. Just my opinion. In any case, I really like what you have here.

I like the comnposition and layout. Good lighting and color. Might want to clean it up a bit by removing the unattached stem at the bottom and the 10 or so small white spots on the background.

I really like the capture of the fireworks especially the large burst. The small red flare up at the bottom right is a bit distracting and does not add to the composition. When I viewed this large, the screen cropped it so that the right side of the photo was cropped out which really emphasized and popped the color and action you have here. In my opinion, you might try cropping this as a 10x8 and eliminate the darkness to the right of the main action. In any case, you did a great job on getting this shot. Thanks for sharing.
