Great shot! It amazes me they are able to swallow something that size.

I re-worked this a bit and decided to re-post. Recently purchased
Lightroom 3. Thoughts for improvements? Thanks.

I stopped to take another look and I see you posted that you are near Breckendale. I have been meaning t get up there for this magnificent assembly of my favorite bird. I am just North of Seattle, so it's a bit of a drive but not so far that it's impossible. If you don't mind my asking, what is the best time of year and viewing location for the closest action? Thanks and I envy your accessibility to these marvelous raptors.

Based on the distance and motion of the eagle, I think you did very well to catch the detail that you have. A simple suggestion to get this particular shot to pop more would be to crop out a good part of the empty space on the right. When I viewed it larger, I was quite surprised to see how clear the photo is. Well done!

I love eagles and this is easily one of the finest shots I have seen. Everything is spot on. Love it.

No offense to Scott, but I like your version better. To me it looks more natural. Nice shot and thanks for sharing.

Great shot of the oystercatcher here. Excellent job of capturing the detail in the black and white, not to mention the focus on a bird in flight. Great eye contact.
