I've always imagined that sailing on the sea would be enriching for ones soul, your image has certainly uplifted mine. The lovely light seems to be guiding the boat off into the horizon. The setting sun is reflecting off everything creating great harmony in this image. Someone told me once that a good photo tells a story and this one, for me, is about adventure. -
Your sunset image has some lovely complimentary colors, our artistic color wheel must of been derived from nature herself. I have to agree with everyone else about cropping out the road that's out of focus. Excellent capture and an image to be proud of.

Sometimes I appreciate a photo for it's beauty, other times it's for it's technical expertise, and sometimes it's just because it amuses me; and this one really tickled my funny bone. And I think it has the qualities of the other reasons that make a photo successful. -

I really appreciate this image for it's wonderfully colored sky, the soft movement of water and the detail in the dark rocks. The light to dark to light really leads the eye through the composition. Well done. -
The IR really enhances this image, I can feel the wind blowing and the storm coming. Any good "art" should involve the viewer, this does.
Good tonal range for IR also.
