I am a user from the U.K. and been happily photo printing with the above printer, but have now discovered that Epson.
with its 'customer service' hat on,have chosen to discontinue the 'OWL' cartridges that the machine uses.
This will mean recourse to 3rd party ink,so I'm interested to know members opinions of the cheaper alternatives.

Thanks for all the responses.
The vast majority of my scans are 35mm with a Dimage 5400 scanner, but, based on the replies, I'll have to give Pyro a go and see if I get better results.

Always impressed by the sharp images posted by Rick which seem to run counter to the popular internet wisdom that flat bed scanners do not do well with 35mm.

If you're brave enough the repair manual is here :

Does anyone know where I can find one for sale?
Does this fit the bill (or the camera) ?

Hi, everyone!
I'm trying to restore a Mamiya c 330f and it's lenses, when, during the disassembly of a 180mm f4.5, i found one of it's internal elements damaged.
After some calls, i found a lens builder that can make another element, but i have to tell him what kind of optical glass were used in that piece.
So... does anybody knows the type of glass were used in the internal elements of a Mamiya sekor 180mm f4.5 (It has four elements in three groups and the piece i want to do is the second element from the camera to the front element).
Thanks you, guys!!!!

Hey!
I'm looking to get my fuji 35mm klasse (35mm film point and shoot) repaired and can't find anyone to service it. I sent it directly to fuji and have tried nippon and a few others but no luck. If anyone might know of a place I'd love to hear!
Or if you know the particular model I'm having an issue with it loading the film. It loads it when loaded but when it stops stops it stays at zero and won't advance. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers,
Jordan

The thread may be old but the product is still listed on the First Call website.

The photorio forum b-w-film-paper-chemistry has a regular contributor 'Photo Engineer' who is a retired Kodak engineer.
I would imagine if anyone knows about this film it would be him.

Hello everyone. I "stumbled" upon this film while venturing around an Ebay site where I purchase most of my films. Listed as a panchromatic film, used between asa 6 & 50, the few web reports via Google seem to indicate it has some "future" in my search for decent 35mm films.
Anyone have some reports (yours) on it?? Bill

I have a fast broadband connection (200Mbps),but like all the posters before me,Photo Net is SLOW SLOW SLOW.
It's a bit like stand development where you start the process and go off and do something else while waiting for it to finish !

Many thanks for your responses. I think it's time for the craft knife and strips of card,or possibly find a way to fit the negatives into one of the many old slide mounts I have around the place.

Any suggestions on methods of scanning Minox negatives ?
I have a Minolta 5400 scanner for 35mm,and also have an Epson flatbed.

Thank you all for your responses. I posted the question in case my Minolta 5400 goes from ailing to terminal and I have to seek out a replacement.
Unfortunately it seems that when the 'last known' repair facility for these scanners - Runtime in Bremen - shut up shop, nobody was interested in providing the service.
Based on these responses I'm leaning towards the 10T.

Looking for views on the merits or otherwise of the above two scanners.

Still listed in the UK and on the Adox site :

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately the products you referenced are the compatible no Epson cartridges which are available in the UK.
I was looking to get members views on the photo quality obtainable from compatibles as opposed to Epson originals.
