I do not think you are going to get that information that is why there are anonymous rate in the RR.

It is clear the if you get 4,5,6 or 7s the chances of the 1 be right is very low.

I think that person had a bad day.

All modern chargers detect automatically 110 or 220V so it should not be a problem. I have a Nikon charger for my coolpix and it is the same there.

Because all the problems with rates (I see people complains often

abot them) why not openenig a Critique Recent queue? (It is only an

idea do not throw me stones).

The window comment in RR is worthless, I do not get constructive

comments there, the average of constructive comments/photo is very

low in RR so why not a CR queue? There we could post one photo (or

two for example) to just to get it comment, no need for rates here

just for learn. The only way I could learn is by commenting photos

and get commented. If a photo does not get commented then goes down

in the queue until it stops showing up.

People comming here will know that they havo to comment and nothing

else, it could also be per category.

 

I mean, this is only an idea that could be worth to try to get an

alternative to the RR queue.

What do you think?

It sounds fresh, you could find who has the most original view of all of in your club.

Everybody can take a picture of a monument (if you have a camera) but the special one is the different one, the original one.

It sounds fun for to do it once or two but not always.

It is only my opinion.

Neither do I. I am not submiting to the RR as many photos as for some weeks ago.

Ok I understand, never happened to me, but it sounds more like a SW problem to me. Like somebody above said it looks like the database in RR synk against the original photo are not aligned.

Ok it can be frustating then.

What if somebody delete a photo? Do you mean that your computer hangs ("Anyway, it causes you to get stuck on that image and nothing works to clear it out")because you get stucked in a non existing photo?

I was looking to upgrade my coolpix 4300 to a DSRL and I see that

the price of sigma SD10 is half of a canon 350D or Nikon D50 (I was

aiming these two) so if budget is the key factor (I am a beginner-

amateur and I learning) what do you think? What should I choose

between these? I see that the Sigma is an older model but does this

count in this case? I know that you get what you paid but somentimes

this not true, and I know that the picture quality of the SD10 is

amaizing. I could get the SD10 for 400-500E, some tips please?

I like the D70 or D50 better than the rebelXT (I usually borrow a D70) but here is the 350D at the same price as the D70 and the D50 will be around the same. I like more the "feeling" of the nikon, I have a coolpix and I can manage a D70 but I though that I could use my old lenses and get a even cheaper price on a 350D and stick whith my old lenses until I could afford a better one. But may be I will try to sell my old Canon and lenses and then swith to a Nikon D50,or a least see how it is, I do not like the D70 is too big and heavy and I can borrow it from my work. But these are my choice, the price is the driving force here.

IX7.

Would these work in a Canon EOS REbel XT (350D)?

Are these lens worth to have or should I buy the kit (camera house +

lenses)and sel these old ones?.

What happen if you upload 20 photos in one day you can not request more than 4/day then the others will be old after 3 days (12 photos in 3 days) so you will never catch up if you upload a lot.

I think the ranking should be based on when you put a photo in RR and not when you upload it to the site.

This is just a sugestion (sorry for my english please)

Another important question is if you want go around with a 1Kg machine like the Nikon D70 or a little point and shoot camera that has everithing even manual mode where you can control pretty much everything.

May be the missing rates has to be with servers update, I do not think that the server updates all the photos in real time so it may be that after some times (hours, minutes or other) the photos get up to date. But this is what I think I don't know the details.

So how the photo comes into the ranking system? In my case never then?

Is interesting to know because then I will only request critics on new photos.

I got 10 retings but for the average at least should have been among the 500 of the last 24 and I did not find it.
