Hi Glenn,
The bear wasn't too pleased to see me, hence the look, but there were two National Park Wardens behind me (probably the safest place?) at the ready. I only managed two shots before it ran away into the forest. Thanks for looking.

Brown phase of a Black Bear standing up to get a better look at me.
Sort of looks like it is taking a pee behind the bush. Thanks for looking.

Thanks guys, Tom the Wolf was in the Canadian Rockies near Jasper.

This gray wolf was oblivious to the traffic passing by on the highway,
I waited until it turned around for this shot then it crossed the
highway and was gone. Thanks for looking.

Nice shot, I like the contrast between the birds and the dark water but I feel it is a bit over saturated especially in the reds, they look very vivid. Compositionally it is good, do you have one where the two birds in the middle are not touching, I think it would look better if there were separation between. A nice shot otherwise.

Great shot Gary, I really like the cool colours, not like the typical sunset/ sunrise. I like the tree branches on the right but find the tree on the left is distracting, I would have liked to have seen the stack more clearly.

Hi all,
I photographed this owl hunting by the road side in the foothills of the Canadian
Rockies, luckily at sunset. Thanks for looking.

I watched this large herd of Elk run down the hillside and 'flow'
across the road ahead of me, a cool sight.

A popular spot in the summer, but a strenuous hike though deep snow in
winter. Thanks for looking.

I went for a longer exposure to show the bear in motion rather than a
'static' shot. Comments and critiques are appreciated.
Thanks

I had set up to shoot Chickadees landing on this branch. The second
bird in the background was pure luck.

Bull Elk drinking from river with mountainside glowing from sunset.

Great shot, I love the lighting. I am not too sure about the angle, doesn't sit right with me. Do you have one from a higher viewpoint, only to see more of the shadow shapes on the background. Great portfolio as well.

I found this fellow 'bathing' in the snow on this pine tree. Any
comments and suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.
