Hello,
does anybody know whether the front element of the Olympus m4/3 14-150 lens rotates when focusing. I'm asking
because I want to know whether it is possible to use polarizer with it easily.
Currently I have the zoom 14-42 lens and it is very difficult to use with polarizer as the front element not only
rotates but is somehow sensitive to even slight pressure.
Thank you

My G2 had recently also stopped auto focusing. Probably a problem with the motor.
Does anybody know where it can be serviced in Europe?

Thank you

Hello,
can the zoom lens be used with teleconverters (1,4x or 2x)?
Thank you

Hello,
I lost a hood for my 24-70 lens. The replacement hood from Sony is heavily overpriced (cca 100Euro).
So I wonder if some other, cheaper hood would fit this lens?
Thank you

Hello,

I have the shift lens but not the "normal" one so I cannot compare them against each other.
I have not find any obvious flaws in the shift lens though.
What I notices is that as the shift mechanism is not completely light tight, one cannot wait for a long time with mirror locked up waiting for the right moment.

This scanner can have problems with high density transparencies. It is not "powerfull" enough to shine them through which can result in banding in high contrast transitions.

I looked at polapremium. 20 sheets of 55 for 150 Euro. Crazy.

I'm using Jobo processor and do 5,25 min. That is for low contrast negs - I guess something like N-1 in zone system terms.

Hello,

I use Across 100@25 and develop in XTOL 1:1. Works well for my needs, which seem to be similar to yours: low contrast, great tonal range negatives.

Hello,

can the 300TL flash be triggered by a X-Sync from another camera then T90? The instructions manual mentions "Off-camera Shoe Adapter", but it is not clear to me whether it uses X-Sync connector.

Thank you

Thank you for the information, Steven. I nearly bought that collar.

Don, I looked at the auctioned colar. The seller says it has inner diameter of 65mm. I measured my teleconverter and it is 60mm. Can the colar be tightened to accomodate for the size difference?
Thank you

Hello,
I also have this camera. Unfortunately it developed pinholes in the belows so I don't use it anymore. Anyway, it works with my Polaroid 545 holder. Don't know about other Polaroid holders.

Hello,
I now use a 80-200/4L and 2x extender combo. Is there a dedicated tripod colar for this? In other post somebody
mentioned Olympus tripod colar, but I'm not really sure what exactly or where to get it.
Thank you,
jiri

I've just encountered <a

photo of Panasonic G1 with FD50/1,4 attached.

"N" for no MLU ("Normal"). For long exposure you set the shutter to "T" . It is the same with every lens.

I bought scanhancer for my Nikon LS50 sometime ago, but used it only couple of times. I found it to be too much of a hassle to use.

Yes, I saw those datasheets there, but it is not in their overall b&w line up brochure. That made me wonder.

Hello,
looking into Kodak B&W film brochure <a
I do not see Plus-X and Tmax 3200. So it looks like these two films are being discontinued?

Hello,
looking into Kodak B&W film brochure I see Trix-X but not Plus-X and Tmax 3200. So it looks like these two films are being discontinued?

How competitive is 80-200/4L with extender as compared to any of those longer zooms? I use it currently with 2x extender. It is of course tripod only and quite uncomfortable to focus but that is mostly fine with me as I use it mainly for landscapes.
