  5. USS Independence (CVA 62) being towed to its anchorage in Newport News after a year in drydock (1967). Decomissioned years ago and sold for scrap. Olympus Pen, 38mm lens.
  6. 4 Generations (1972) Kodachrome converted to B&W. Leica M4 with a 35/2.8 Summaron lens...my only one at the time.
  7. Beautiful collection! I occasionally use both FD and FL lenses, these days on a digital body, but I do keep my T90 warmed up just to see if it still is working. I recently got hold of the 55/1.2 you mentioned and am having fun with it...beast that it is. Not sure I yet have nailed down its eccentricities...but know it does produce dreamy shots wide open.
  8. Why not just examine the interior of the camera body with a flashlight and mirror to see if there are any obstructions, light baffles, etc, which might be impacted by the collapsed lens? Generally, though, I's suggest putting a rubber band around the extended stem of the lens, so that you can mostly collapse it, but give yourself some extra leeway. The one I had years ago, after being collapsed into my M4 body would periodically, by itself, slide out of the collapsed position which was quite annoying at times. These days the only lens I collapse is the 50/3.5 Elmar.
  9. An old shot from the late 70s or early 80s. Leica M4, 35mm Summaron. A selfie piloting our houseboat in Canada.
  10. Service Berries as the snow melted off them. 100% crop. shot with 400mm/6.3 Spiratone "Girl Watcher" lens thru my window, A7Rii
