Wow, what amazing shots. Just up my street! Hats of for getting such fabulous detail. If that's work in progress, I'm looking forward to seeing more. For me, the wider view works better, so the bottom one. The other two are, in my view, too much taken up by the void in the middle, whereas the wider view gives more of the detail that is more interesting to me and, from what you say, is probably what you are trying to capture.
