  1. A fine example why you should never use a wide-angle lens for

portraits! Well, in most situations, very true, but I don't believe

in following the rules all the time and it can produce some

seriously funky effects. Ian and Chela thought these series of

    pictures were hilarious.

I wouldn't suggest using a 'wide' for wedddings though, not if you

wanted to get paid or lynched.

Any comments would be most welcome.

Iso 800 on my Canon 5D, no noise what so ever, a magnificent camera.

Any comments on these photos is most appreciated, good or bad. We

    all want to get better.

    Many thanks,

Thank you for your kind comments.

Varicella as correctly pointed out is chicken pox and gets the name not because it can be caught from chickens but simply because the spots were thought to resemble chick peas. The UK does not have a national immunisation policy yet so these sights are still common. Amelia was on top form when I asked her for her picture so don't worry, she is on the mend.

    Best wishes

This is an old Celtic Monument on the base of a church that was

constructed in 430AD (after we gave the Romans a kicking and they

left). This monument just sits there in the middle of Bargoed

Mountain, Wales and nobody pays any interest to it what so ever.

    Odd.

    Any comments most welcome,

    Kev
