I suspect the scans were sharpened and you're seeing artifacts. Try asking for zero setting or a minus setting on the scan sharpening next time.

Have you checked to see what, if any, default import settings are being used?

<p>Image processor is a script within PS. Find it by going to File > Scripts > Image Processor. From there you can select to save your TIFF as a JPEG and resize and change the color profile to sRGB, something you'll want to do if uploading to the web.</p>

That SWC won't perform any of those things for you. </p>

<p>Andrew,</p> <p>Try creating the first square by filling the 1"x1" square with black, then add the curves layer and adjust that initial black to which ever density you're looking to create.</p>

<p>My .02 is that you seem to not know what camera you really want -- which is totally o.k. and understandable. But don't get fooled into making a quick decision based on the seasonal shopping hype. That shouldn't be the basis for a large outlay such as this.</p>

<p>Seth,<br> I've had that lens for two decades and its always had the same little wiggle you describe. Never interfered with producing the sharpest images of all my lenses. If it bothers you I'm sure Nikon repair will fix it for an absurd amount of moolah.</p>

<p>I've come across an odd item I'd like your feedback on. As the subject line says, it's a USAF 1951 1 X target with the added text "Gurley Troy, N.Y." printed on what seems to be glossy photographic paper. </p> <p>What's odd (to me) is that is measures only 4" x 5". </p> <p>Am I mistaken to assume these targets would be much, much larger in size? If necessary, I can post an image later.</p> <p>What do you think?</p>

<p>Just got it and would like suggestions for which SD cards folks are having success with. I don't need top end speed nor video and size is 32GB or 64GB. Have always had good luck with Sandisk but maybe there's better bang for the buck?</p> <p>Also, are people using LCD screen protectors? I don't baby my equipment but I am careful with it and I'm ditching the OEM one but I've read the LCD is already impervious to scratches so is one necessary?</p>
