Definitively a start for a "Mirror" -series....

...just buns in sun...for fun?
Raging waters, Rick, raging waters in Vancouver....no other purpose than capturing a moment of light. Bygones...

...photographer Jean-Loup Sieff's quote;
"One day, I will make a book called; Homage to a hundred and twenty seven bottoms chosen for their plastic, intellectual or moral qualities" un-quote
(This quotation is from page 209 in his book 40 years of photography) Please, Jim take a look at my other "bottom pic"...sort of explains the title

Thanks Julia for your comment. The actual framed print is cropped so that the chin does not show, the jewelry does however. I wanted to leave a face in the shadow which I think brings a little more to the pic compared to cropping above the breast.

"Cherub" -theme apart I guess there are certain times we wish for
new wings...

I checked the 20x30cm print and there's a slight softness I'm comfortable with.
The scan seen here is only 29K in size so it's losing something to the pixels I suppose... thank you for your input.

...I'm sure.

...for your kind words Marko and Paul!
And yes, we are looking north trough the window...

Inexplicably this view works for me (and several others whom have
purchased a framed print)...and I certainly would not mind living in
one of the modest upper apartments with a small gallery on street
level...please check the text version further below.

This is absolutely a one-off fruit topic for me.
One big framed print vanished in South-Africa, either on-route or on-site.
My "photo statement" tried to make its way to a photo salon several years ago; "South African Apples", 1997
This nice 80x100cm sepia toned print is in my kitchen....and yes, they are SA apples...

I like the way the window makes a top frame on the picture.

At one time there was quite a hole in the ground in downtown

This nightly triptych needs 3,5 x 1 meters of wall space.

This, I recall is the work which started my "Chairperson" -series.
Personally I find the cropping pleasing and the shadow (as in most
of my work) is intentional. One original framed monochrome print is
50x40cm.
