Sort of boxed in....
-
The long hair is certainly restless...the top of the chair makes
a "cats ear" on the model...on the other hand the hair on the
adjacent side of her head curls in a similar shape.
-
Almost in the category of portrait.....
-
Yes the sign(s) on this nice white building make the main subject. My thought is that it gives a sadder impression when the person is walking away from our view. For a while I thought on correcting the vertical...but left it at that due to the clipped wing angel which seems heavy on one side. It would certainly be interesting to try your suggestions...thank you for your comment.

Sharp at the eyes only....very shallow dof...on purpose.
-
Sort of abstract....
-
Chris, your comment can be read by the model herself. The lack of technical merit in this photograph, as you kindly point out, is probably obvious to most...weird you say...well, got your attention at the very least....thank you for sharing.

A chairperson variation...of sort.

One of my favourite work...

Thank you Michael and Peter for your comments. There are of course a certain amount of other practical things that spring to mind when viewing this photograph. I'm certain you are right in the terminology and definition of human parts...(see, this actually makes a dialog)

My work is on a complete positive note...
Inspired by;
"The Vagina Monologues, created and performed by Eve Ensler, debuted
off-off-Broadway in 1996. This controversial work soon rode a wave
of national acclaim and continues to be performed in North America
and around the world. It has been translated into 14 different
languages and performed in over 30 different countries."

The grid behind the model is interesting....
-
Included a walkby snapshot of the large print...the interesting aerial grid made by the tram cables is sadly not seen properly in my scans.
-
This one is very nice in large, half-door-size print....
-
The adjacent wall makes a special detail...
-
This has a separate picture pair called "Asian Front", 1999
sometimes displayed side by side....
-
This diptych makes happy movement...I planned on making a triptych,
but gave the funniest face (neg and all) to the model as a bonus...
-
...Oh, and the sticker on the bus deep down under the Hong Kong
banner says; "Kraftwerk"....and it always amazes me how the tram
tracks are uneven...
-
I like the odd geometry, and the books make nice detail....
-
What an excellent outdoor photograph. What did you use for lighting the model and stone...?
-
A such this is a successful picture and idea. However, it would be interesting to compare it to a similar version showing the palm of the models hand. I like the levitating leaves also...
-
I like the bold way you have cropped this portrait. Exemplary work.

Thank you Tim. And yes, very genuine...the model was actually longingly awaiting her fiance from a business trip. I succeeded in capturing a few other moments in front of that (sunlight burning trough)window with equal success. Happily I photographed the couple the next day...a Sunday if I recall correctly.
