Recent film scan, what do you think?

Keep the board! I love this series.

Hi Sacha, this is a quite wonderful image. The manipulation is quite tasteful, in the spirit of turning the photo into an illustration; it works. More like this, please ;-)

Excellent, graphic shot. There's a lot to ponder about looking at it. Its a great idea and execution.

Beautiful mood. Well crafted. I love the colors, composition and elements.

Thank you Ryan and Chris. I worked a bit in Photoshop to reduce a realtively bright sky, and found it contained these beautiful colors.

I think you have a good vision, but I cannot rate your work, as I dont see it as photography. It still amazes me how many people will fall for it, though (re: Great shot commentary). It would be very easy for me to do something similar with Photoshop, and perhaps I will make a new account and post digital alterations only, as this seems to get one straight to the TRP list.. Then again, maybe I wont. All that said, I think this is one of your best manipulations, because of its neutrality. The cloud on the right seems to me to be protruding below the 'virtual' horizon though, and lacking reflection in the 'water'.

Great mood and vista. The interesting sky, the foreground in shade, and the good depth of field all adds up to a nice photo.

Hi Ryan,
I see you have quite a few mill shots yourself. I've been thinking of making a mill series myself. Good shot and composition here.

A stitch of three images from last winter. What do you think?

Ninoslav, Alec, Nilesh, thanks for your comments!

I love tightly composited street scenes like this. Well done.

I think its great with the body. I also enjoyed the window frame. Perhaps just a bit tighter composition would be advantageous.

Hi Marie,
I love this photo, it is a very intellectual style, and has great visual idea and execution. The black space is part of it, but also the unique pose. I also enjoyed your shadow on the wall photo, I'd love to see more like this.

Thank you Wernher, Rafik, Sarah, Jon and Matt for your critique, and everyone else for the generous ratings this image has received.
