Thanks! Great comments everyone! It was a bit like Alice in Wonderland wasn't it? I remember climbing into shrubbery in the park only to emerge somewhere else entirely..
Keep them coming.. :-)

My childhood playground, this park. Frederiksborg castle is now the

Beautiful scene - nice and tranquil. Great use of dynamic range. I also like the colors. Well done.

Thanks! Its somewhat difficult to tell how close I were, but; the thunder was almost instant. The sound of the thunder was so loud I could feel the soundwave on my body.. To the bottom left, there's a vague silhouette of Scandinavias tallest building, the Turning Torso. That building is about 5 kilometers away. The lighting strike is considerably closer.. I was using a tripod and a Sigma 15-30 lens @15mm (top of lighting not captured - it was that close), camera set to 30 seconds - put my hand in front of lens immediately after lighting to enhance contrast, so actual exposure is anyones guess.

Great simplicity and color.

Its a fine shot. The fact that the eyes are so diagonal makes me a bit dizzy, though; I think I?d prefer it as a portrait orientation.

A great series of photos. Keeps your interest. The numbering though, I dont get.

It's difficult to see at this size, granted. I think it is a subject best suited for larger size, that is probably why I applied more than usual sharpening to squeeze the detail out. I also noticed this halo at this size looked like oversharpening, but decided to leave it as it were.

Hi Laurie,
The white halo around the head and neck, if thats what you are referring to, is not from oversharpening, but is backlight from the suns reflection in the back. This 'natural halo' is visible on the unsharpened photograph. But I do appreciate your comment that you think it is oversharpened. I did give it a lot, but were careful not to produce halos.

I reworked this photograph completely from my first posting. Your

Great pose, good portrait. Lighting is good, framing likewise..

Hi Gianluigi,
I like this photo. As a documentary, it catches you and makes you interested. The light is quite good, along with the 'atmospherics'; the steam in the air. Perhaps a little shadow lift would become the photo.
