Wow... very dramatic, nice picture indeed.

Maybe this is just me, but I'd wish the bottom right hand corner of the car is not so close to the edge of picture. Maybe another 5% of the frame...

    Anyway, great picture !

    Nice !

I like this one. The pose is very easy to the eyes. And I like how the person is kinda melt into the dark part of the picture.

    Nice Job !

    Albert.

PS: You might wanna clone out the tiny line on the middle-left hand side of the picture.

This is a nice shot, the object is properly focused, and I like the idea of isolating the colour. It really matches well with the black&white background.

    My inputs:

I would consider slightly off-centering the object to make it less stiff/forward.

And personally, I think the background is kinda busy (too many objects), distracting the eyes from the object.

I just noticed that the lower part was slightly off-focus, but I understand this kind of shot is not easy to make.

It has potential, maybe you can re-do the shot?

But nonetheless it's a nice picture. I dig this.

    In Your Eyes (V.2)

          8

It is very nice indeed. I think it has this "dreamy" sense on it.

But I agree somehow the frame is not really right... Maybe I was thinking that a wider coverage will make the picture less stiff?

Maybe something that includes same vertical coverage, but wider horizontal coverage..

So that the picture shows a bit of the girl's body and will shift the eyes a bit more towards the right hand side of the picture ?

Anyway, just a thought, not sure it would turn up nice though.

    Thanks.

    A sad photo

I really like this photo. I think it has emotion in it.

My only problem (but maybe it's just me) is I feel that the framing is slightly too tight ?

But it's a nice picture anyway.

PS: Might wanna clone out that white thing on top right hand corner though...

    Tulip Reflection

I think it's the placement of the tulip, maybe if it's placed a bit lower (therefore more space on the top instead of bottom), it would be easier for the eyes.

PS David : Glad to see you back, PN had been a bit quiet without your "slightly different" works ! :)

    Tomato

Nice picture. I like the fresh look of the tomato...

I think if you wanna give more effect on the picture, you should take this picture from a bit further distance and include more potatoes between the tomato (those are potatoes aren't they?) Therefore making the potatoes look more spreaded.

    Albert.

  1. Nice picture... I like the framing...

One thing though, I think it needs a little bit more contrast. Just a little bit.. And maybe the green vegetable (what vegetable is that?) sticking out from the top right hand side of the picture is better not included though...

By the way, those hams sure look tasty... Now you made me hungry... :)

    Natural selection?

          10

    Agree with Mohammad.

I like it the way it is now.

Too focused will result in this picture lose its impact and it might as well become "normal" picture of trees.

    Natural selection?

From my point of view, it shows the feeling of alienated because you are not as good as the majority of the society.

Gosh, I just woke up, its 9am saturday morning here, and Im already talking about society issues.. :)

Very nice image by the way...

    Untitled

You know what, looking at this image, suddenly an idea just came to my mind.

You might wanna ask them to pose like the 'three see no hear no speak no evil monkeys'

Im quite sure, it will be a very cute and nice picture. Even if it's not great, it would still be a very nice family picture.

But I don't think its an easy task though, especially considering little kids who just can't stay still. And another problem is, the little girl is significantly smaller than the boys, so you need to find a way to balance them.

Anyway, I don't have kids, so I cant really do the shot; plus I dont do much portrait works anyway...

Maybe if you have a chance (and patience), then you can give it a go ? :)

    Regards,

No, I was lucky the security guard actually came up and told me nicely that it's not allowed to make pictures.

Nice picture by the way, and it didn't look like a picture taken whilst you're being chased by security guard. :)

You mean something like this ? I actually retain the darkness because for some reason, my eyes feel more comfortable with it... Maybe if the picture was shadowless, then I'd make the background as bright, clean white.
