From my forthcoming book, Spirits - 15 years of photographs

Lovely story. Thanks for sharing :D I feel like this photograph is very heavily weighted toward the center, and that doesn't quite work for me in this case. Also, what others said about the title, yes.

A little soft, which is fine. Compositionally kinda strange. My eye doesn't quite know what it's supposed to be looking at.

This is good. I'd like to see people. Inside. Outside. Both. More contact with the human condition that this picture implies.

street? who knows what that word means.

Very nice, very clean with lovely tones. Thanks for sharing.

Thanx!

I really like the composition of this photo, which its diagonal lines and the sense that it moves upward from the right to the left. Very nice work.

Thanks for looking!

Thanks for any and all thoughts.

What year was this picture taken? I love it.

There's an odd and altogether-You sensibility in your work that I very much enjoy. Keep at it, eh? It's definitely worth it.

A little too soft, ie, blurry. The composition and colors are nice though :D

Very nice. I wonder if using duotones (or another trick) you could bring down some of the blown out highlights in the sky. Otherwise, the tone, composition, and texture are fabulous.

Thanks in advance for any comments.

Nice shapes and composition. Personally, I'd like to see a little more contrast but that's just me. Maybe a darker background. Also, the crop along the top cuts really close to the point of the cross. Leave a little more room, maybe?

This is kind of perfect. It looks like you saw the picture you wanted to take, and then you took it, which is a good thing. A little fuzzy over on the right side by the bicycle chain (I think). Otherwise, a nice landscape of crescent wrenches. :)

Very nice. A little on the soft side, maybe because of movement, maybe because of jpg compression, but in general, I like it. Warm tones are lovely. Keep up the good work.

Interesting subject. A bit blurry and a bit difficult to really tell what's going on. I don't suppose you can just "go back" but it would be nice to see a gesture of some kind coming from the woman. For me, anyway, exotic, faraway, and "with access" aren't enough to add up to a great photo. But again, I salute you for getting down in the dirt. Keep at it!

very nice hard, strange light and heavy grain. the on-the-toes stance gives this a nice sense of tension. the light from the right side is also really nice. With nude work there seems to be a tendency nowadays to use really soft light and low contrast. I like this approach better :) Keep it up.

Good work. This has really nice composition and light. You've also done a good job of hiding that display cabinet on the left. To my eyes, though, the photo is a little flat in terms of contrast and saturation. I understand though that it's a challenging scene with a wide range of shadows and bright areas. Good job overall. Will look for more of your shots from Queretaro.
