  1. Sorry I can't address that particular adapter, however, I have another Fringer adapter - Canon EF to Nikon Z mount - and I am very satisfied with its construction and function.
  2. ISO 25,000. Beach at night
  3. That’s a much more reasonable price! ~$1000US for the actual HK-43 is ridiculous. I spent less on the excellent Nikkor 105 macro lens.
  4. @mike_halliwell No, that’s the odd thing. It almost appeared to be press-fit together and it went back together tightly. It is no longer in my possession so I can’t examine it more closely.
  5. The lens isn’t mine - just passing through. I do covet it now, tho!
  6. Unlike all other lens hoods I have this one has two primary parts: a hard plastic bayonet ring that attaches to the lens and a softer tube that constitutes the hood proper. A sample I have separated into these two parts when in a case. Is the ability to separate a “feature” or a “bug.” Thanks!
  7. I was just approached by someone to publish some of my photos in an ebook (unipressbooks.com). I was offered a max of $64USD per photo used in the book. This is not something I am very familiar with however I have been paid $200 to $500 per photo in an online/print magazine in the past. Is $64USD ridiculous? I am tempted to simply say "thanks but no thanks." Thanks.
  8. Ventral pleats of stranded fin whale
  9. I find this to be a disturbing image when coupled with the title, "Song of Nature." That's not a negative, as it evokes a strong reaction. Unfortunately,I find the busyness of the scene detracts from the photo's power, but perhaps that was unavoidable under the circumstances. A focal point for me is the three "singing" animal heads on the left side and that focus is somewhat lost with the clutter of chairs and ladder. A compellling photo nevertheless. Might be worth retaking if possible.
