still be there when I got back - HE WAS!!

I LOVE the shadow. Well done on the hovering bee. Yea - it would be nice to have everything in focus but I believe most people understand it is not easy. Only thing I would change is to crop more of the bottom so the shadow does not get lost! Well done.

I don't think I have ever put a photo in "insects" before. I goal was

to get motion in wings as opposed to the typical stop action shots.

Rod - that is correct - although it was sort of by accident. I still had the auto bracket on and clicked to photos - so - - WHY NOT click a 3rd. I was one of those times when there are MANY shots all 5 seconds apart that looked right. NOW? NOW? NOW?

 

 

I tried to not have much processing (I loath over processed HDR . . .which I sometimes fall into that trap).

 

I just got off the phone with NOAA - seems that was farther away then it looks.

 

Not sure what category but thought I had to share this. Not the

perfect photo but sometimes the subject is more important .

Excellent - not sure about the pink border as it sort of detracts from the rose - maybe redundant? I would have it no border but maybe up in a shadow small effect effect so the square stands out but does not draw your attention away.

Since this is a critique forum I will. I like the vertical more then the horizontal shot. with that said I think there is just a TINY bit too much foreground. I would have tried to crop just above that 1st bunch of lower left flowers. HOWEVER - I know it's tough so - WELL DONE!!

LOL - Dale - I'm sure many people think that and you might be too far off! I should have named this "Yet Another Stop".

My favorite of Cantabria (which I had no clue where it was). I love seeing other parts of the world. This reminds me a lot of Door County Wisconsin USA (except with out the large white building). Well done. I love the layered colors. I'm wondering if a white frame would be better to make the scene brighter.

LOL - THAT IS FUNNY - reason is that these are actors that will be in Public Enemies the movie with Johnny Depp - I was involved in the movie and the current poster with Johnny Depp in Chicago has the same exact problem - too many stars. They put the flag in after they shot the photo.

I'm just trying to decide if this photo has any value. One of those,

"is it just me" things. Thoughts? comments? I'm not used to 8x10s as

I like 8x12s but I had to crop . . stuff! Frame is just default

Very nice and I know you probably could not help it but the chopping off the legs of the people is disconcerting! The shadows of the humans on the shiny surface would have been nice. Otherwise - excellent.
