Both delightful ( composition and colors ) and on the same time the hair on my arms is raising, seeing that, whatever the name is.I think the contrast therefore in monocrome/color works good. And good night to you Amelie. Walter
  1. Tickling moment ! I like the red and yellow and the movements from the composition and blurr. Also find it an original concept. The chair

however seems IMO to have a wish taking over the

the image.Thats were my eyes keep coming back.Walter

I have have been looking at your picture of the moon a couple of times and somehow Im drawn to it, on the other hand I cant make up my mind about it. And I dont know what it is. But this one definately passes this time as I like the composition, the well balanced mixture of artifacts AND the colors. IMO the blue and browns almost always are working fine together.Peace and love from Walter.
  2. Sometimes I amuse myself looking at spaced out

photography like David La Chapelles images but soon finding myself thinking of how to portrait a shovel in a good way. This capture is excellent, and the kind of images that I find have substance

    and that are lasting. Walter

  3. I think it is worth bit a more than my rating is showing. It is a lovely portrait remainding me of one of my all time favorite photographers, Arnt Sneve from Lofoten. Bought a book by him and the poet Kjell Sandvik when I was in Svolvaer in the late 70s. A real treasure. Regards. Walter
  4. Looking at an overall elegant/sofisticated portfolio I dived into your Vermeer portfolio wich IMO stands out. It is not easy picking one or two headlighs from it, since there are many but spontaniously this caught my eyes first leaving space for the mind to rome.Beautyful. Walter

It caught my eyes, and I think it was the movement the two heads are making. I would have liked to have more space at the bottom instead of the at the top maybe especially as those heads

look quite heavy. Now it gives me the feeling that the image is pressed down. Walter

Just a thought. How about cropping off the road and concrete + quite a bit of the left part, say

somewhere at the first branche ?

I find it an interesting composition and a fine portrait. Overall your portraits are very good.Personally I would have liked the foreground, her blouse not being that unsharp. But I dont know, only my opinion.

I took a short brake and when I returned I couldnt upload your portfolio. It gets hung up and I have even tried it on another computer, same result.Dont know what it is or why. Works only when I go into a space of yours with a few images and then I have to save it as a shortcut. See you ! Walter
