  1. I've used HDR in Lightroom a few times and am happy with it, but I'm not an HDR expert nor a real estate shooter. I'm not sure you'd be able to get that look without auxiliary lighting, though.
  2. Thanks for your response. It's too late now since I returned it, but at least I'm happy with my current lens. I suppose had I tried live view focusing that would have pointed out the problem, although I'm not sure I could do that with the 5D Mk ll.
  3. No, the dome isn't being lifted!
  4. I don't understand how a firmware update could help a lens, except for auto-focus. The first one I bought was earlier this year. At least I have a real good one now.
  5. Putting my new 40mm f/2.8 pancake lens through a workout. I'm very happy with the results. This lens is nice and sharp. The first one I bought wasn't and got returned. TriggerHappy, I'm sure you could make a living at real estate photography! I like the view out the window.
  6. Canon 80D with 24-105 F/4. These are from Chicago Botanic Gardens.

Taken exactly one year ago today. Canon G7X
  8. Your children will have a great portfolio by the time they're grown!
  9. Something I should save for a rainy day. I was inspired by several You Tube videos. 80D with 24-105 and off camera Canon flash on low power.
  10. Looks like the same kind of bird that landed on the hood of my car while I was setting up a shot in Yellowstone back in the last century during the film era!
  11. NHSN, thank you (I think!). I suppose that's about the worst news I could hear about this. Looking through many of my negatives, even ones stored in a closed case, the same thing is happening. The older the negative, the worse the case. I'll read that article you linked to later. Thanks for your time.
  12. I'll have to read it sometime when I'm not nodding off!
