You should use sRGB as the destination space. In PS2, Edit > Convert to Profile. I believe you are using Adobe RGB or something else other than sRGB, that's why it lacks quality.

Hi Kent, just upload a picture, you can get comments, but no ratings, submit for critique will receive ratings and might get comments, if you check "Submit for critique only" box, you will only get comments. For any pictures uploaded recently, rating has been disabled unless you submit for critique. The category is the queue for critique, not an attribute for your picture.

Without modify the existing data, a new flag will be useful and also help the performance a little bit.<br>SET Qualify for Ranking = "Yes"<br>WHERE (Submitted Date >= "The Date When Submit for Critique Flag is Available" AND Submit for Critique Flag = "Yes") OR (Submitted Date < "The Date When Submit for Critique Flag is Available")

Google keep changing their ranking algorithms in order to get rid of the spam. Bad linking strategies may get you banned from some searching engines. Does the term "link farm" sound familiar? PN should show they are capable to implement the similar technology instead of keep telling their members to grow up.

Keep getting: The requested URL cannot be accessed due to a system

Here is the <a href="http://www.robgalbraith.com/bins/multi_page.asp?cid=6007-7699"> result of the CF speed test.</a> I had a similar problem with my Lexar 40x before it got replaced. You can try just shoot RAW+JPG to see if you can fill up the 2GB card. If there is a bad memory area, you will see the corrupt image or the card getting busy after similar amount of shots. Write down the edge number if you decide to claim the warranty. Make sure they replace it not reformat it for you.

It's normal. I have a lot on my Digital Rebel. Photoshop removed it for me during the RAW format conversion.

Here is the list: <a href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect?link_code=ur2&tag=yongbojiangco-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&path=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fgp%2Fproduct%2FB0007QKN22%2Fqid%3D1134537136%2Fsr%3D8-1%2Fref%3Dpd_bbs_1%3Fn%3D507846%2526s%3Delectronics%2526v%3Dglance">Canon Digital Rebel XT</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=yongbojiangco-20&l=ur2&o=1" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" />, the 7-point auto focus system is great. I always use the center point to focus on the eye for portrait. There is a rebate end 1/15 for $75. <a href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect?link_code=ur2&tag=yongbojiangco-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&path=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fgp%2Fproduct%2FB00007E7JU%2Fqid%3D1137082875%2Fsr%3D8-1%2Fref%3Dpd_bbs_1%3Fn%3D507846%2526s%3Dphoto%2526v%3Dglance">Canon 50mm f/1.8 Lens</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=yongbojiangco-20&l=ur2&o=1" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" /> and <a href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect?link_code=ur2&tag=yongbojiangco-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&path=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fgp%2Fproduct%2FB0002P1796%2Fqid%3D1137082960%2Fsr%3D8-1%2Fref%3Dpd_bbs_1%3Fn%3D507846%2526s%3Dphoto%2526v%3Dglance">Sigma EF 500 DG Super Flash</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=yongbojiangco-20&l=ur2&o=1" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" />. Use the build-in diffuser and bounce the light to the ceiling is the trick. I use 1/60, f/1.8 for most shots indoor. Here is a <a href=http://www.photo.net/photo/3133969>sample</a> without the flash.

Hi Brian, I am using Y! mail, works fine now. Is it possible if I put "CR" or "CR only" as the text body to submit picture for critique directly? Thanks.
-
Hi Brian, if you download that attachment, the format is still image/jpg in the file info (Photoshop CS2). Some servers treat jpg as pjpeg. Here is a <a href="http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum88/5931.htm">thread</a> found on Internet.

Error received by email: <br>
"None of the attached files were JPEG photos that we could process."

I will get the waterproof one. <a href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect?link_code=ur2&tag=yongbojiangco-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&path=external-search%3Fsearch-type=ss%26index=blended%26keyword=lowepro%20dryzone">Lowepro Dryzone</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=yongbojiangco-20&l=ur2&o=1" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" />

Hi Daniel, I have a DOF Calculator for Palm OS. It's free. <a href="http://www.dofmaster.com/">http://www.dofmaster.com/</a>

Hi Jonathan, the 20D and Rebel are almost the same. Some features have been disabled on Rebel, such as mirror lock up is not available on Rebel. The extra 2MP is not a big deal; I can get 12x18 prints without any problems (6MP Rebel). The size of the sensor is more important. Both 20D and Rebel are not full size. They are APS-C.

The <a href="http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=productlist&A=details&Q=&sku=306007&is=REG&addedTroughType=categoryNavigation">Hoya HMC Pro1 </a>is one of the best C-PL. Take the UV filter off when you taking serious shot. You can find enough information from the B&H website.

An Ad free log in page for subscriber might help. Something like: http://member.photo.net. I saw the Ad every time before I signed in.

I bought <a href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect?link_code=ur2&tag=yongbojiangco-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&path=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fgp%2Fproduct%2FB0002P1796%2Fqid%3D1135219890%2Fsr%3D8-1%2Fref%3Dpd_bbs_1%3Fn%3D507846%2526s%3Dphoto%2526v%3Dglance">Sigma EF 500 DG Super Flash for Canon SLR Cameras</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=yongbojiangco-20&l=ur2&o=1" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" /> for my 300D. Similar to 550 EX, but lot cheaper. I like the wireless control on the flash, you dont need the off shoe core anymore.

If you are looking for the compact p&s, I will pick <a href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect?link_code=ur2&tag=yongbojiangco-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&path=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fgp%2Fproduct%2FB000AYGD8E%2Fqid%3D1135219271%2Fsr%3D8-1%2Fref%3Dpd_bbs_1%3Fn%3D507846%2526s%3Dphoto%2526v%3Dglance">Canon Powershot S80</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=yongbojiangco-20&l=ur2&o=1" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" /> with the wide angle optical zoom.

There is a big difference between the regular and multi-coated Hoya filter. Less flares and ghosting on the HMC Pro1.

Something is wrong on the 5th bit of the address bus. I will try the firmware update. I hope the problem is from the corrupt firmware. Since the video is in different resolution, you may not see the same problem. Here is the URL to download the firmware. <a href="http://web.canon.jp/Imaging/IXUS400/ixus400_firmware-e.html">http://web.canon.jp/Imaging/IXUS400/ixus400_firmware-e.html</a>

Hi Yuan, I guess the community-member page is from the cache server and indexed by Google, the photodb one is from the database. The page views per user for PN is 5.

I will definitely get the <a href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect?link_code=ur2&tag=yongbojiangco-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&path=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fgp%2Fproduct%2FB0009GZSSO%2Fqid%3D1134720680%2Fsr%3D8-1%2Fref%3Dpd_bbs_1%3Fn%3D507846%2526s%3Delectronics%2526v%3Dglance">Canon IS S2</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=yongbojiangco-20&l=ur2&o=1" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" /> instead.
