It could be true. The cheap memory chip doesn't have the bit for parity checking, so the camera won't know there was an error.

Ben, you did a good job, and I hope everyone got a better understanding of Brian's job.

You also need the permission from Philip Greenspun. philg@mit.edu

That picture was in first few pages of the "Top Rated Photos (3 days)", probably, the first 6 pages.

I only received 1 comment on my last 5 pictures, so I am planning to learn spanish. :)

It's not odd. Unix based web server is case sensitive and Windows based is not. For example: http://www.cnn.com/index.html and http://www.cnn.com/Index.html are not the same.

Panasonic is the best.

I think the <a href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect?link_code=ur2&tag=yongbojiangco-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&path=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fgp%2Fproduct%2FB0009GZSSO%2Fsr%3D8-1%2Fqid%3D1143050418%2Fref%3Dpd_bbs_1%3F%255Fencoding%3DUTF8">Canon Powershot S2 IS</a> is better. You can get a brand new one for $365.

1 or 2 seconds delay for the pop up will be better. Right now, you have to move the mouse again too click the image.

4.83/4.67 is not low at all, if you can post that link here will be better. Manipulate picute is not quite easy, receive extra credit just make sense. Every digital picture has been manipulate either by the manufactory (some sort of the jpg convertion) or the photographer.

Hard drive can crash and the regular CD-R or DVD-R only last for few years. Keep a copy on hard drive and also burn it on the professional media, such as <a href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect?link_code=ur2&tag=yongbojiangco-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&path=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fgp%2Fproduct%2FB0007LJHWE%2Fsr%3D1-13%2Fqid%3D1141755692%2Fref%3Dsr_1_13%3F%255Fencoding%3DUTF8">Maxell DVD-R PRO</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=yongbojiangco-20&l=ur2&o=1" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" /> or <a href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect?link_code=ur2&tag=yongbojiangco-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&path=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fgp%2Fproduct%2FB00009YWIC%2Fsr%3D1-35%2Fqid%3D1141756259%2Fref%3Dsr_1_35%3F%255Fencoding%3DUTF8">CD-R PRO</a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=yongbojiangco-20&l=ur2&o=1" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" />.

Fujitsu is one of my favority. But you have to send it back to Japan for warranty repair. That's not the case for DELL, but I did claim warranty on all the 5 machines (3 desktops - hard drive, 2 laptops - LCD and keyboard) during the past 4 years.

Brian has the log but doesn't have the resource to generate the report for each image. It will be a nice option if member can turn the hotlink off.

Buy a few 1GB CF cards. Take the advantage for rebates. It can hold more than a thousand pictures at small size (0.6 - 1.2 MB each).

Hi Mark, the Bigma trick the camera by sending f/5.6 back instead of f/6.3 when at 500mm end. Thanks for the tips.
-
Thanks for the picture and reply. Back to the topic, is Bigma (Sigma 50-500mm) a good lens to start with? I am planning to get one.
