No way! The people at the bottom tell the story and add interest to a mere documentary image. The "mess" also adds dimension and story.

Gulls in the shadow of a bridge are lit up. A single bridge makes two distinct bands of shade across the image. A small cloud in the middle of a very clear day adds fill light while the surrounding bright sky does not. A bridge footing shadow that appears nowhere.

 

I see now.

Why is the lower bird's shadow to its left while the other bird's shadow is not. Also the shade on the waves show sunlight coming from one direction while the birds, along with their uneven surfaces in relation to the same sun, seem to have even lighting on them at every angle. Do my eyes decieve me?

Looks like something different than thinking.

This isn't the typical rainbow shot. Its also nice to see one that isn't the product of Photoshop.

This is a nice image as everyone says. Of course the so perfectly placed bird is shadowed while the child is not despite the obvious direction of the sunlight. The image is more impressive without without the alteration.

Who would have thought puke green could be so good? Nice portfolio btw.

It seems rather contradictory to suggest there is no meaning, emotion, or that the image doesn't say anything after acknowledging in the same paragraph that the image is interesting and has a witty outcome.

Its art and a pleasing image. Its also an obvious composite.

It is a nice piece of art. Graphic art. Derived from an original photo, the most striking feature is a computer geeration. The new era is here. What should we call it?

Great color and exposure. Everything came together in the right places. Excellent.

This is a nice relaxed capture of the kids. They are so often naturals for the camera. As to the 'distraction', I find the excessive blurring (seems computer manipulated) is the actaul distraction. If the white part is a house and was less blurred, the photo would seem to have a more natural setting.
